Hilltop cottage is fully equipped and decorated to a high standard throughout, concentrating on comfort. The cottage offers excellent self-catering accommodation throughout the year. The cottage is fully centrally heated, at no extra cost.

The cottage consists of a good size living room containing two sofas, a bookshelf and a television, video player, dvd player, and freeview box. There is also a small portable stereo, and a cd player and amp.  The lounge features original exposed oak beams and a coal/ log burning cast-iron stove on a deep hearth. We will leave you an initial supply of logs.

The kitchen is open to the living room, and is equipped with a cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, and washing machine.  The kitchen is fitted with a range of units containing all necessary crockery, cutlery and utensils. The spacious bathroom is also on the ground floor, with bath, shower, W.C. and basin.

The cottage has a large sun/ dining room with half-height windows overlooking the garden.  There is a dining table for four, a high chair and a sideboard here, as well as a shoe rack.

Upstairs there are two roomy bedrooms with great views over the valley.  To the left there is a twin room with a chest of drawers and a washhand basin. To the right is a large double bedroom with chair, wardrobe, and chest of drawers.  The cot is also stored in here.  This room has an original open fireplace, which can be used.

Bedding and tea towels are included. There are radio alarm clocks in both bedrooms and a hairdryer. Beds are made up for your arrival. As we like to think of Hilltop Cottage as a home from home we supply toilet tissue and paper tissues, some toiletries, tea bags and coffee, flour, sugar and and selection of cooking oils, spices and condiments.  Please help yourself!
